Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painting Subcontractor to join our team and deliver exceptional painting services across a variety of residential, commercial, and renovation projects. As a Painting Subcontractor, you will be responsible for executing high-quality paint applications, surface preparations, and finishing touches that enhance the aesthetic and durability of our clients’ properties. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply primer, paint, stain, and other coatings using various methods including brushes, rollers, spray equipment such as airless paint sprayers, and power tools.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and color schemes based on color theory principles.
• Execute detailed trim carpentry, fixture installation, stucco application, masonry work, and drywall finishing as needed for comprehensive surface treatment.
• Perform restoration and renovation painting tasks on existing structures while maintaining safety standards on construction sites.
• Use hand tools such as putty knives, scrapers, caulking guns, and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly.
• Conduct routine maintenance of equipment including scaffolding, ladders, scaffolding systems, welding equipment (if applicable), and airless sprayers.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential painting as well as commercial or industrial painting projects with a strong portfolio demonstrating your craftsmanship.
• Construction site experience with knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work efficiently in dynamic environments.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
• Hands-on experience with construction estimating processes to assess project scope and material needs accurately.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding systems, welding (if applicable), masonry techniques, plastering methods, caulking procedures, trim carpentry, stucco application, fixture installation, concrete finishing, remodeling tasks, maintenance routines including airless paint spraying.
• Knowledge of color theory principles for effective color matching and aesthetic consistency across projects.
