Job Summary:
You are responsible for loading materials at job sites using our well maintained automatic or manual transmission front loaders.
Other Requirements:
6:00 AM start, 8 hours / day, year round work.
Essential Duties and Required Skills:
- Safely maneuver a front-end loader to scoop, lift, and move bulk materials from one location to another.
- Fill trucks, hoppers, and railcars with materials and unload materials from other vehicles.
- Assist with earthmoving and site preparation by moving materials as needed.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other workers on the job site.
- Experience in the landscape or excavating industries helpful but not required.
Other Requirements and Qualifications:
- A strong understanding and adherence to safety procedures (OSHA standards).
- Experienced in operating a front-end loader and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Ability to work in various and changing weather conditions.
- Some experience operating heavy machinery preferred.
- Physical requirements include: full range of motion with legs, arms, hands, and fingers; sitting for long periods, climbing, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds.
License and Testing Requirements:
- Valid MA Driver's License.
- 2C License.
- Submit a DOT physical and medical test certificate .
