Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse including: Record information about crops; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with John Deere GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, corn, milo, cotton, hay, blackeyed peas; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, haul grain to storage areas or market facilities in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures.
