Golf Car Service Technician

Job Overview
We are a large golf car dealership that has an opening for a Service Technician. Applicant should have the minimum required tools to perform basic Technician duties and experience in repairing gas and electric vehicles. Basic duties would include:

-Maintaining golf cars as they come into the shop, such as oil changes, repairs, and tune-ups.

- Troubleshoot problems and solve issue on Electric and Gas powered golf cars.

- Installation of new accessories on sold golf cars such as radios, lights, mirrors, safety accessories, lift kits, tires, etc.

- Work Area Organization

- Cleanup work area every day and place all tools in proper storage areas.

- High level of detail is needed as all cars are tested before being returned to our customers.

- Time Management to complete car repairs within allotted time.

- Must have your own tools

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on golf cars.
• Diagnose issues and identify necessary repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with service manager and customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.

Experience

• Electric and gas car repair: 1 Year (Required)
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot golf cars.
• Proficiency in welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with golf cars and repairs is advantageous.
