Our manufacturing plan thrives on a high-volume, repetitive environment and we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

Position Summary:

 

The Maintenance Supervisor will manage and direct the maintenance department and ensure repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  
  • Hires and trains maintenance department staff
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department
  • Develops maintenance procedures and schedules
  • Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner
  • Assists the Director of Operations Support with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Ensures assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use
  • Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment
  • Receives, manages, and processes work order system and requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly
  • Maintains documents for maintenance record requirements
  • Maintains, drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment
  • Ensures safety standards are followed throughout the facility 
  • Participates on emergency preparedness planning team
  • Maintains inventory of supplies; reorders as needed
  • Establish necessary programs and processes within the maintenance department
  • Maintains good employee relations and compliance to labor contract provisions and company policy
  • Supports the Supervisors and Manufacturing Engineers, ensuring timeliness in supporting all M.E. projects to improve manufacturing
  • Supports all plant layout improvements in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
  • Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed
  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing
  • Familiarity with trades and knowledge of machine tooling
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with various levels of internal and
  • external contacts
  • Effective project management and time management skills
  • Ability to make decisions within defined procedures
  • Skilled in planning own and others work to meet defined work plans and objectives
  • Ability to multi-task

 

 

Work Environment & Physical Demands

 

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and move throughout the facility for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move up to company‑defined weight limits as needed.
  • Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of materials or equipment for up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular use of computers, handheld devices, and inventory systems for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to safely navigate manufacturing and testing environments, including climbing stairs or ladders and wearing required PPE.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual base salary for this position is $75,000 - $80,000 annually, based on market data for the Denver Metro Area. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, paid time off (PTO), and other company-sponsored programs. In addition to the base salary this position is eligible for an annual profit-sharing bonus.
