Shifts are either: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Job Responsibilities of the School Cook:
- Assist with delivering high quality, nutritious food service for early childhood center children
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen
- Ensure materials and equipment are kept in a safe fashion in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements
- Adhere to Colorado Adult Child Food Program (CACFP) requirements
- Communicate with coworkers and families in a warm and professional manner

Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- HS/GED (preferred)
- Speak, read, write and interpret written materials and oral information in English
- Reliable transportation as this position will float from center to center as needed.
- 1 year prior institutional cooking experience (preferred)
- Experience with the Child and Adult Care Food Program / CACFP (preferred)
- Math skills to meet position requirements
- Pass CBI background check and post-employment medical examination
