Job title: Long-term Care Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Fair View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - Mauston, WI
Shifts Available:
- Part-time 1, 72 hours per pay period; PM Shift, 2:00pm - 10:30pm
- Part-time 2, 32 hours per pay period; Day Shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Weekend rotation: Shifts include every other weekend, weekend and night shift differentials available
Holiday rotation: Holiday rotation
Position Summary:
Performs resident functions in accordance to nursing home standards of practice.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provides for resident's personal hygiene: gives bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves, and assists with showers.
- Provides for activities of daily living: assists with meals and feeds patients; ambulates, turns, and positions patients; provides fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Performs I&O; checks vital signs and weight; assists with specimen collection; and post-mortem care.
- Provides for comfort needs of residents
- Promptly answers resident's call lights and requests.
- Other duties are requested within scope of practice
Position Requirements:
Required Education:
- Successful completion of nursing assistant course
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification to practice in the state
- Night Shift - current BLS required.
