Part-Time Clinical Instructor
- Teach 2 clinical days per week, 8 hours per shift
- Schedule determined upon hire
- Ideal for experienced RNs looking for a reliable part-time opportunity
Per Diem Clinical Instructor
- Commit to a minimum of 5 shifts per 8-week module (out of 16 shifts)
- Flexible scheduling based on availability
- Great for nurses who want to stay engaged in education while maintaining clinical practice
Responsibilities
- Supervise students in clinical settings such as hospitals, long-term care, OB, or pediatrics
- Provide real-time coaching, mentorship, and skill-building support
- Ensure students meet learning outcomes, safety standards, and professionalism requirements
- Collaborate with the nursing education team to monitor student progress and performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Active, unencumbered New York RN license
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience in a variety of clinical areas
- Current experience in acute care, OB, pediatrics, or long-term care strongly preferred
- CPR certification required
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (local travel to clinical sites required)
