Manufacturing/production worker (Oakland/Emeryville)
Job Summary
The overall responsibility of this position is to support the manufacturing and production functions of the company.
Minimum requirements:
- Team player, dependable, prompt and honest a must
- work well with other employees
- Perform basic mathematical calculation
- Ability to comply with all documentation & safety procedures as well as company policies
- be able to communicate with supervisors and co-workers
- Knowledge of a warehouse and its operation procedures is a plus
- Read/write/understand English proficiently
- Must be physically able to lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis
- Understand and follow general instructions
- Maintain accurate and complete work records.
- High School diploma (equivalent GED) is required
- Start early morning
- Be available for overtime work as needed
- May work in a cold area for extended periods of time
- Regularly stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during shift of 8 hours.
- Knowledge of operating a forklift is a plus
