- Measuring grain
- Lifting products weighing 5-100#.
- Working with bagged products, bulk storage overhead, and bulk storage outside.
- Running equipment (several mechanical pieces but mostly electrical). Turns motors on and off. Starts/Stops mixers, feed legs, and set turn-heads determining feed direction and movement.
- Mixes grains, several different ingredients going to a mixer for a finished product.
- Loading product out of mixers into bags or trucks for delivery, or customer pick-up.
- Must be able to read invoices and mix feed accordingly. Involves breaking down recipes into batches appropriate to mixer size.
- Math skills are required when breaking down recipe sizes.
- Good attention to detail is required. Quality control is necessary for timing of production, measurement accuracy, and shrink control.
- Good communication skills
- Can lift up to 100lbs
