What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility & Equipment Maintenance Supervisor position at Milan Center Feed and Grain?
Your Responsibilities Would Include
- Responding to all facility, equipment, and truck maintenance
- Emergency- get equipment up and back on-line
- Preventative- set schedules for preventative maintenance, plan down-time for service, etc.
- Projects (short-term and long-term)
- Inspect materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
- Report to and work with the direct manager
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Work as a backup to production employees when necessary
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields is desired
- Knowledge of production tools and equipment
- Strong leadership qualities, experience in supervision, and team-leading
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player that is willing to work alongside other team-oriented individuals
- Good time management
- Self-motivated and a self-starter
- Willing to learn new skills and grow both professionally and personally.
