What You’ll Do
- Cut, trim, and prepare beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry to company standards
- Prepare specialty items such as sausages, oven-ready products, and cured meats
- Merchandise and display products to maximize freshness and visual appeal
- Monitor product quality and minimize spoilage
- Provide knowledgeable, courteous customer service and assist with custom orders
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Weights & Measures guidelines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support and mentor Meat Cutter Trainees when assigned
- Complete opening and closing department duties as needed
