Commercial Plumbing Superintendent
Job Summary:
Milam Plumbing is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Superintendent to oversee all field operations for assigned commercial plumbing projects. This position is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents, applicable codes, and company standards. The Superintendent serves as the on-site authority for plumbing operations and works closely with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and field personnel.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Oversee day-to-day field operations for assigned commercial plumbing projects
· Plan, schedule, and coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project milestones
· Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and NC Plumbing Code
· Identify, resolve, and coordinate field issues in a timely and professional manners
· Maintain clear communication with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades
· Promote and enforce company safety policies and jobsite standards
Required Experience & Qualifications
· Proven experience managing large-scale commercial plumbing projects, including medical facilities, hospitals, warehouses, office buildings, and schools
· Valid North Carolina Plumbing License (minimum Journeyman/Technical level)
· Experience supervising crews of up to 20 plumbers, helpers, and laborers
· Strong proficiency in blueprint reading, including coordination and shop drawings
· Working knowledge of construction management software such as Procore and/or Autodesk
· Experience communicating with Spanish-speaking field personnel (bilingual preferred, not required)

Compensation & Benefits
· Competitive salary range: $65,000 – $90,000 annually, based on experience
