Milacron is looking for a Payroll Manager to join our team in Batavia, OH. As the Payroll Manager, you will oversee all aspects of payroll processing for our Global manufacturing operations. Work You’ll Do
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for a diverse workforce, including hourly and salaried employees across the globe.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax filings and reporting.
- Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead payroll-related projects, as necessary.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data management, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports, providing insights to management regarding labor costs and trends.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of payroll accounts.
- Stay updated on payroll legislation and best practices, recommending changes as necessary.
- Train and mentor payroll staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
