Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team. This hands-on role involves managing the flow of materials in and out of our facility, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining an efficient, organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take incoming parts orders via phone and email
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments
- Verify, inspect, and stock incoming materials against purchase orders
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping preferred (we will train the right person)
- Familiarity with order picking and packing processes
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all shipping processes
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Customer service skills and phone etiquette a plus
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
Requirements
- Ability to lift 75 pounds, perform physical tasks, and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
