Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast.
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and ensuring dishes meet quality standards before serving.
- Manage beverage service and drink presentation.
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash or credit payments with accuracy.
- Support the expediting process by coordinating between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards according to food safety regulations while handling food and beverages.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred in fast-casual high-volume settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast, or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Knowledge of beverage service techniques.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately.
- Food handling certification or knowledge of sanitation practices is a plus.
