What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthodontic Assistant position at Mikolich Orthodontics?
Join our team! We are a growing Orthodontic practice looking for a part-time Orthodontic Assistant. Orthodontic experience is preferred, but will consider training a competent individual with experience in general dentistry or healthcare. Current radiology certification is highly preferred. Competitive compensation package commensurate with skill set and experience. Benefits include paid vacation & holidays, yearly bonus, license reimbursement and uniform allowance. The typical schedule is Tuesdays 8:30am-5pm, Wednesday 12:30pm-6:00pm and Friday 7:30am-2:00pm. Clinical duties include X-ray production, sterilization, orthodontic records (digital x-rays, impressions and high quality photographs), changing archwires and ligature ties, assisting chairside for bonding and educating patients and parents on oral hygiene. Strong communication skills are necessary. We are looking for someone to join our team who is dependable, punctual, flexible, hard working and has an out going personality.
