Rehab aide- Spanish speaking

We are looking to hire a SPANISH speaking aide on our physical therapy team.

As a Physical Therapy Aide, your primary duty will be to support patients in their journey towards recovery. You'll be working closely with both a Physical Therapist and a Physical Therapy Assistant to implement treatment plans. These plans are developed based on assessments by the Physical Therapist and require your assistance in guiding patients through exercises and providing modalities as part of their treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clear and effective instructions to guide patients in performing exercises.
• Administer modalities, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and other therapeutic treatments, to patients.
• Accurately record exercise details in the patient's digital records.
• Develop and print home exercise programs for patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within treatment rooms and gym areas.
• Assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Perform basic clerical tasks as required.
• Uphold high ethical and legal standards in all activities.

Skills:

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or relevant work experience within a medical environment.
• Fundamental understanding of therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical therapy modalities.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication, facilitating effective interactions.
• Skilled in confident and comprehensive instruction delivery.
• Strong multitasking capabilities.
• Basic computer literacy, including essential office tasks such as printing, and making phone calls.
• Our workplace operates in a paperless environment where all documentation and charting are conducted through a web-based electronic medical record system. Proficiency in basic computer skills is essential for this role.
