Location: Sioux City, IA, and surrounding areas (Field-Based)
Compensation: 20-40/ hour We are looking for an independent, business-minded Mobile Automotive Mechanic to fulfill contract repair orders in the Sioux City area. As an independent contractor, you will accept dispatch jobs on demand, manage your own schedule, and use your own tools and vehicle to provide on-site repair services directly to clients.Contract Scope & Services
- Accept and fulfill mobile service requests dispatched through our network.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and braking issues on-site at customer locations.
- Furnish your own mobile service vehicle, comprehensive toolset, and advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain professional customer interactions as an independent representative.
Requirements & Business Qualifications
- Must operate as an independent business entity (Sole Proprietorship or LLC preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of professional automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
- Must own a reliable service vehicle and a full set of professional tools/scanners.
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
- Active Commercial General Liability insurance policy (or willingness to obtain it).
- ASE Certifications are highly desired.
- Responsible for your own self-employment taxes, tools, vehicle maintenance, and fuel Will be paid per trip.
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
