Duties
- Greet customers and provide a friendly and welcoming experience
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist customers with inquiries, product location, and purchases
- Perform upselling of products to enhance customer experience
- Conduct product demonstrations when required
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Process returns and exchanges efficiently
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Experience in retail sales, particularly in a grocery store setting, is advantageous
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math
- Ability to demonstrate phone etiquette and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of upselling techniques to promote additional products or services
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various customer service situations
