Mike's Foreign Car has a rare opportunity for an Automotive Service advisor to join our team! We are a German Automotive service and repair facility looking for a highly motivated “take charge” service advisor. Closing in on 50 years in business we have a well established clientele base that is growing everyday. Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Greet and check in mechanical guests
- Listen with concern and write up work order and enter it into our shop management system
- Provide timely updates to guest on their repair status
- Contact the guest with technician diagnosis and obtain financial authorizations
- Manage workflow throughout the day
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Coordinate shuttle rides to guest
- Help with the general upkeep of the front office
- Post repair cashier duties
- Generate day end closing reports

- Previous experience as a writer in the automotive industry and general understanding of how cars work and are repaired
- Be able to accommodate a full time schedule
- Be skilled to work in a fast paced environment
- Empathetic and customer service focused
- Be able to make quick decisions that work in the best interest of both the shop and the guest
- Have superior customer service phone skills
