Position: Senior System Engineer (PMS 415 Support)
Nature of Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer with a minimum of 20 years of experience to provide technical leadership and systems engineering support for undersea defensive warfare programs within PMS 415. This role supports rapid acquisition initiatives focused on the development, integration, and fielding of advanced countermeasure systems and payloads.
The engineer will play a key role in establishing a Systems Engineering Center of Excellence, ensuring disciplined processes, requirements traceability, and effective integration across multiple programs.

Systems Engineering & Requirements Management:
- Evaluate systems engineering posture and recommend improvements
- Develop and maintain Requirements Verification Matrices (RVMs)
- Implement Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
- Develop Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs)
Test & Evaluation (T&E) and Modeling & Simulation (M&S):
- Develop integrated T&E strategies
- Optimize balance between modeling/simulation and physical testing
Acquisition & Risk Management:
- Support acquisition strategy development
- Identify and mitigate risks
- Support program reviews and milestone decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PEO UWS or PMS 415
- Familiarity with countermeasure systems
- INCOSE (CSEP/ESEP) or DAWIA certification
- Experience establishing engineering centers of excellence
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of systems engineering experience
- Experience with DoD or Navy acquisition programs
- Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle
- Experience with MBSE tools (Cameo, MagicDraw, SysML)
- Experience in requirements, testing, and risk management
