JOB OPPORTUNITY
Mike White Ford of Sandpoint is currently seeking a Service Advisor!
The Service Advisor directly impacts customer retention by building relationships based on transparency, accuracy, and trust. The advisor provides exceptional service by listening to the customer’s concerns and clarifying details to the technicians so they may provide a comprehensive diagnosis and estimate. The advisor then communicates these recommendations to the customer with patience and empathy.
WHAT TO EXPECT
-Promptly make eye contact and greet our customer’s
-Listen, clarify, and repeat the customer’s concerns so we can diagnose and/or repair their vehicles in an efficient and timely manner
-Review customer and vehicle history using a variety of resources to ensure all the correct information is collected; previous repair documentation; previous estimates; recall verification
-Evaluate if the vehicle is under any applicable warranties and prepare the customer at check in for any potential charges they may incur
-Process Ford warranty coverage and a multitude of aftermarket providers utilizing their specific submission process
-Build itemized estimates including inspection fees, parts, labor, sublets; taking into account any possible warranty
-Establish status update times and the best way to reach the customer at each point of contact beginning at check in. Maintain communication, so the customer is aware of the progress of their vehicle.
-Answer incoming telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller’s inquiry
-We understand that a serious automotive concern can affect a customer’s life in many ways, so we approach all situations with patience, kindness and empathy
EXPERIENCE WE SEEK
Our ideal candidate has experience managing a high volume, fast-paced environment. He or she may have had automotive experience in the past and/or a high level of customer service experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
