Mike the Balloon Guy & Company is a family-run entertainment business that has been bringing joy to events around Pittsburgh since 1996. We specialize in balloon art and children's entertainment at birthday parties, festivals, school events, weddings, and community gatherings throughout the region. We are currently looking for friendly, energetic, creative individuals who would enjoy performing balloon art and entertaining guests at events. This is a unique opportunity to do meaningful, creative work that brings smiles to people of all ages. We handle the bookings, client communication, pricing, and scheduling so you can focus on the fun part: performing and entertaining.

What You'll Do
This role involves traveling to events around Greater Pittsburgh and performing balloon art for guests while helping create a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Events may include:
- Birthday parties
- Festivals and fairs
- Weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs
- School events and proms
- Community events and picnics
- Corporate family events
Your role is to engage with guests and create balloon animals, hats, and sculptures upon request. Depending on the event, you may:
- Walk around the event interacting with guests and taking balloon requests
- Set up in one location where guests line up for balloons
- Perform balloon twisting for large groups of children and families
The most important part of the job is engaging with people and creating a fun experience. Our entertainers are energetic, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with crowds of all sizes.
Responsibilities include:
- Traveling to events throughout the region
- Creating balloon sculptures quickly and efficiently
- Engaging with guests in a friendly, upbeat way
- Keeping children entertained while they wait for their balloons
- Representing Mike the Balloon Guy & Company professionally

Competitive pay per event starting at $85 per hour
Paid training provided included in onboarding program
