Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Yard Hand at Mike's Westside Rental at our Belton, TX branch. This role may lead to other opportunities within the company.
As a Yard Hand, you will be responsible for:
Deliver superior customer service
Help load/unload internal truck drivers & customers
Review orders and set up equipment for drivers
Clean, maintain & organize heavy/construction equipment
Ability to make ready and perform minor service on equipment and tools (including oil changes)
Able to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks
Keep the rental yard clean and free of trash
Keep new decals on all equipment, replace old/faded
Support all MWR team members where necessary
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license w a clean record.
Must have construction equipment knowledge and experience
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong computer and data entry skills
Able to adjust to quickly changing priorities
Ability to work well independently and in a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
