Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Yacht and Small Craft Detailer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the pristine condition of yachts and small watercraft through comprehensive cleaning, polishing, and maintenance procedures. Your expertise will help maintain the highest standards of vessel appearance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Perform exterior washing, buffing, and polishing of yachts and small crafts using automotive buffers and cleaning equipment to achieve a flawless finish.
• Conduct gelcoat/paint correction to remove scratches, oxidation, and imperfections, restoring the vessel’s shine and appearance.
• Clean and detail vehicle interiors, including upholstery, carpets, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
• Follow safe work practices during all detailing activities, including heavy lifting and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the auto detailing facility and ensure all tools and supplies are organized and in good working order.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests professionally and ensuring their vessels meet or exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in auto detailing or boat/yacht cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Knowledge of vessel exterior washing, buffing, paint correction, and interior detailing techniques.
• Strong understanding of safe work practices, heavy lifting techniques, and custodial responsibilities related to vehicle maintenance.
• Experience with buffers, cleaning equipment, and detailing products is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing detailed cleaning tasks.
