Account Manager - Commercial Lines

Mike Keith Insurance is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support our commercial Property and Casualty business. The ideal candidate should be a professional and goal-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal, time-management, and communication skills. Five years of previous insurance experience is required, as well as an existing P&C license for the state of Missouri or Kansas. This role will work closely with account managers to manage client expectations and account servicing needs. This is a service role and has no sales requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• 
  Assist account manager with servicing designated book of business as relating to marketing, claims and administration.
• 
  Responds to client inquiries, documents communications, issues and resolution
• 
  Ensure essential tasks are completed for the client at appropriate times in the service cycle.
• 
  Maintain excellent carrier relationships to provide client advocacy at appropriate times.
• 
  Resolve client issues with a sense of urgency to avoid disruptions in client service and/or coverage.
• 
  Inform account manager/producer of situations that could impact account retention and/or client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  Intermediate to advanced skills in navigating Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• 
  Minimum 5 years insurance experience, preferably in commercial lines.
• 
  Team player who takes initiative and is self-motivated to continuous learning and development.
• 
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 
  Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve challenges effectively.
• 
  Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact well with diverse personalities.
• 
  Able to operate independently with minimal supervisor intervention.
• 
  Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with a detail-focused approach.

  Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed.
