As our Quick Lane Service Advisor, you'll be the first face customers see and the trusted voice guiding them through every service visit — from quick maintenance to bigger repairs. This is a great fit for an experienced service professional who's ready to grow with a busy, high-volume Ford dealership.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers promptly and set the tone for a great service experience
- Perform vehicle walk-arounds and identify customer concerns
- Write and manage repair orders accurately
- Review maintenance history and Ford-recommended service schedules
- Present maintenance and repair recommendations clearly and honestly
- Relay technician inspection findings and get customer authorization
- Keep customers updated throughout the repair process, including accurate time estimates
- Recommend tires, batteries, alignments, fluid services, and other maintenance
- Educate customers on FordPass Rewards and other Ford programs
- Schedule next service visits to build long-term customer retention
- Partner with technicians, parts, and management to keep the shop running smoothly
- Keep accurate records in Reynolds & Reynolds
- Follow up with customers to support strong CSI scores
- Hit sales, gross profit, and productivity goals
What You Bring
- Prior automotive service advisor experience preferred
- Ford or Quick Lane experience a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable presenting and selling recommended services
- Solid organizational and time-management skills
- Thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced service department
- Working knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair
- Reynolds & Reynolds experience a plus
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Dependable, positive, and team-oriented
