You will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, accounting, and clients to ensure settlements are processed efficiently, accurately, and with an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate all settlement-related tasks after a case resolves
- Prepare and send settlement agreements and release documents
- Communicate with clients to obtain signatures and required information
- File settlement-related documents with courts when necessary
- Negotiate, resolve, and track medical liens and balances
- Prepare settlement statements and disbursement paperwork
- Create and verify payees in Bill.com
- Work closely with the bookkeeping/accounting team on settlement disbursements
- Maintain accurate notes and updates in Litify/Salesforce
- Ensure all settlement funds and documents are processed in a timely and correct manner
- Help create a smooth, positive closing experience for clients
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines at once
- Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems quickly
- Experience in personal injury law, settlements, liens, legal assistant work, bookkeeping, or accounting is strongly preferred
- Experience with Litify, Salesforce, Bill.com, DocuSign, or legal case management software is a plus
- Problem solver who takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
