Duties
- Assist with framing, siding, drywall installation, and door hanging to ensure precise and durable structures
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble building materials
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow project specifications and ensure quality workmanship
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing tasks as required on-site
- Support fixture installation, cabinetry, flooring, tile laying, and plastering projects for interior and exterior finishes
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, drywall sheets, concrete blocks, and metal studs while maintaining safety protocols
- Assist with restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold removal, stucco application, and water damage restoration efforts
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation
- Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws) and power tools (drills, saws) used in carpentry and general construction
- Experience in framing carpentry (wood or metal), trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, and door hanging
- Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry techniques, roofing systems, siding installation, and metal stud framing
- Ability to perform plumbing or electrical work is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is valued
- Knowledge of restoration industry practices such as mold remediation and water damage restoration preferred
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working at heights; comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
