Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages with professionalism and flair
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Process cash and credit transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen operations as needed to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
- Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Experience with OpenTable reservations system is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction
