We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Account Lead to drive the success of our North American business. In this role, you’ll act as a strategic partner to key clients, leading the delivery of integrated, multi-channel campaigns while ensuring operational excellence across teams.
Sitting at the intersection of account, creative, and production, you’ll bring clarity, momentum, and a strong point of view to everything we deliver. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is passionate about building strong client relationships, elevating creative output, and contributing to the continued growth of MIK Studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the senior lead across key North American accounts, owning client relationships and serving as a strategic partner.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of integrated campaigns across digital, social, e-commerce, branding, and content.
- Translate client objectives into clear strategies, scopes, and delivery plans, ensuring alignment across global teams.
- Lead and mentor the Project Management function, ensuring strong delivery practices, clear prioritisation, and operational excellence across projects.
- Establish and refine workflows, processes, and ways of working to drive efficiency, scalability, and consistency.
- Support the growth of the North American business, contributing to account expansion, identifying new opportunities, and strengthening client partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and production teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand work at scale.
- Oversee multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Maintain a strong point of view on creative output, contributing to concepting and ensuring work aligns with client and market needs.
- Adapt and localize global campaign assets for Canadian and broader North American markets, ensuring cultural and market relevance.
- Uphold and elevate creative and delivery standards across NA/UK teams through clear, constructive feedback and guidance.
- Work effectively across time zones, ensuring seamless collaboration between North America, UK, and global teams.
- Foster strong cross-regional relationships, helping to bridge teams, share knowledge, and create a connected, collaborative working environment.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, supporting engagement, communication, and alignment across distributed teams.
- Stay informed on industry trends, culture, and emerging technologies to continuously elevate output and thinking.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in an Account Lead, Senior Account Manager, or equivalent role, with demonstrated ownership of key accounts.
- Proven ability to lead delivery across complex, multi-channel campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading or closely managing Project Management teams and delivery workflows.
- Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with the ability to balance client needs, creative ambition, and operational realities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in senior client-facing situations.
- Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive outcomes.
- Experience working across global teams and time zones, with the ability to build strong relationships in distributed environments.
- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and contribute positively to team culture.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles is beneficial (not a dedicated UX/UI role).
