Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and guest services, with the ability to create memorable experiences for our patrons. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service when applicable.
- Upsell drinks and menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies; assist in ordering as necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or bartending role preferred; experience in a nightclub setting is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial for coordinating with kitchen staff.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding guest services.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be of legal drinking age as required by local laws; certification in responsible beverage service is preferred but not mandatory.
