We’re looking for experienced Aerial Linemen to join our growing aerial construction division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with fiber and coax construction in the field — setting poles, lashing strand, pulling fiber, and performing maintenance on overhead lines. You’ll be responsible for safe, efficient aerial builds alongside a groundhand and bucket operator, maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain aerial fiber optic and coax cable on poles and strand
- Lash fiber, install hardware, anchors, and guy wires as needed
- Safely climb poles using hooks and belts or work from a bucket truck
- Read and interpret construction prints, work orders, and maps
- Perform pole transfers, overlash, and mid-span installs
- Maintain tools, rigging, and equipment in good working order
- Train and direct Groundhands as part of a small crew
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and clients regarding job progress
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in aerial telecom construction (fiber or coax)
- Ability to climb poles safely and use proper fall protection
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred)
- Clean background and ability to pass drug screening
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Understanding of NESC standards, utility spacing, and safe work practices
- Strong work ethic and teamwork mindset
