Position Summary
The Labeling Associate is responsible for accurately printing, preparing, and applying product labels in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role ensures that all finished goods are correctly identified, traceable, and ready for distribution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Print and apply labels to products, boxes, or pallets according to production schedules.
- Verify label accuracy, including product descriptions, lot numbers, expiration dates, and barcodes.
- Maintain labeling equipment and promptly report malfunctions.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA, or internal requirements depending on the industry).
- Keep detailed records of labels used, batches processed, and quantities completed.
- Organize and maintain an inventory of labeling supplies (ink, rolls, ribbons, templates).
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and warehouse teams to support efficient workflow.
- Follow all safety and hygiene procedures required in the production area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in labeling, production, or warehouse environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
- Basic computer skills to operate labeling software and equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–40 lbs (depending on company requirement).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment
