What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook/Kitchen position at Mighty Fine Burgers & Shakes?
Back of the House Team Members (BOH TMs) delight guests through the preparation of menu items. They work closely with fellow team members and managers to make sure each guest receives the highest quality products and service in a friendly, professional manner. The BOH TM is an effective part of Mighty Fine and maintains confidentiality, loyalty and other company standards as directed.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
1. Positive attitude.
2. Sense of urgency.
3. Menu knowledge.
4. Follows proper food handling and food safety practices.
5. Builds perfect burgers exactly as ordered, working on several different orders simultaneously.
6. Adds produce and mayonnaise to burgers according to the order.
7. Properly toasts buns using the bun toaster.
8. Wraps burgers neatly and correctly.
9. Maintains a clean and organized work area.
10.Works with other Mighty Fine team members as a team player.
11.Works with speed and efficiency while maintaining excellent guest service standards and quality
assurance.
12.Completes daily and weekly cleaning duties as scheduled. Cleans and sanitizes kitchen areas.
13.Reports to work on time and dressed in the correct uniform.
14.Understands company policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook.
15.Performs other tasks or duties as directed by the GM or restaurant manager.
