We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Jewelry Setter with microscope proficiency to join our dynamic jewelry manufacturing team. Duties
- Use microscopes to meticulously set gemstones and small decorative elements into jewelry pieces with precision and care
- The Jewelry Setter will be responsible for setting diamonds and colored gemstones under a microscope with exceptional precision, including pavé, prong, bezel, channel, and shared-prong settings. The ideal candidate will ensure all stones are securely set, properly aligned, and meet the highest quality standards while inspecting each piece before and after setting
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure dimensional accuracy and craftsmanship standards are met
- Collaborate with fabrication team members to interpret technical drawings and ensure seamless assembly processes
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols and industry standards such as AWS (American Welding Society) guidelines
- Assist in the development of fabrication techniques and process improvements for enhanced efficiency and qualityRequirements
- Proven experience in jewelry setting, especially using microscopes for detailed work
- Strong knowledge of mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, schematics, and shop math for precise measurements
