Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting automotive parts, accessories, and maintenance products with enthusiasm and detailed knowledge of vehicle systems.
- Provide expert advice on automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance to support customer needs.
- Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and tracking parts using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) platforms.
- Process sales transactions accurately through cashiering and POS systems.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing strategies that promote parts sales and enhance customer engagement.
- Maintain excellent communication skills to answer customer inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating courteous phone etiquette at all times.
- Support order fulfillment by efficiently managing stock levels, processing incoming shipments, and ensuring timely availability of parts for customers.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing questions related to automotive repair, dealership services, or retail sales confidently and clearly.
- Assist in maintaining organized storage areas, ensuring proper stocking practices and inventory control measures are followed diligently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive retail or dealership environments with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, repair, and service processes.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory, stock levels, and order fulfillment efficiently.
- Familiarity with automotive repair procedures, maintenance practices, and dealership operations.
- Proficiency in using inventory management tools such as Parts Scanning.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills to upsell products while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to retail parts sales is advantageous.
