TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER
MI-FAB Manufacturing is an energetic company, located on the Chicago’s south side, in the commercial drainage industry that is constantly growing by offering new and innovative products. While being Responsive to our customers’ needs and requirements while aiming to improve continuously and understanding Teamwork.
We are in search for immediate hire of a Highly Motivated Technical Support Engineer to become part of our Growing Team. You will Report Directly to Customer Service Manager.
This Position Will Include:
- Create Bill of Materials and assist with product technical questions.
- Comfortable with engineering drawings, blueprints, and buildings plan layouts
- Knowledge or experience working with plumbing
- Ability to absorb new information quickly
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Comfortable working direct with customers (general contractors, building engineers, etc.)
About You:
- BS Degree Strongly Preferred and or Pursing an Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- You must have a experience working with CAD Software (BIM, Solid Works, AutoCAD, Revit (preferably 2 years minimum)
- You have High Energy with a Sense of Urgency to Accomplish Any and All Tasks Given.
- You must be Organized and have a Strong Work Ethic with the Ability to Multi-Task, Understand Time Management and be able to work in a Fast-Paced Environment to Meet Stringent Customer Expectations
- You have a Desire to Both Learn and to be Self-Driven.
A Few Extras:
- Must have Effective, Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Experience with MS OFFICE.
- Plumbing Industry Experience is Definitely a Plus
Compensation: 50-60K Annually – Based on Experience
