HOURS OF OPERATIONS
Hours may vary each week but will be scheduled during our retail store hours:
- Monday through Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm
- Saturdays 7:30am-3pm
- CLOSED Sundays & Holidays.
Must have a flexible schedule to work between the hours of operations. Start times will vary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering questions about merchandise.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Conduct product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure cases are stocked with fresh, appealing products.
- Assist inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with inventory counts by the direction of the Retail Management Team.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone or in person, following proper phone etiquette.
- Assisting in the other areas of the store - where needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience with POS systems and cashiering is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, upselling strategies, and merchandising practices
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
- Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail environment is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing 8 hours per day; Lifting - up to 25 lbs. to stock shelves
- Must be able to tolerate occasional exposure to coolers and freezers
Requirements
- Proven experience or familiarity with automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, or automotive repair; dealership experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively and perform retail math accurately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for record keeping and communication purposes
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
- Demonstrated customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work seasonal hours including weekends and evenings as needed
