Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Lube & Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with automotive service and diagnostics and experience around heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including fluid changes, filter replacements, and equipment inspections on heavy equipment including excavators, motor graders, bulldozers, utility tractors, conventional scrapers, farm tractors, scraper tractors, skid steers, loaders, and other construction equipment. Services will also include work on semis, half-ton, and three-quarter ton pickup trucks.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to conduct repairs and adjustments on various equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics techniques to identify necessary repairs.
- Align and calibrate equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Assist with other mechanical issues when service and lube priorities are complete.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician in the automotive or heavy equipment field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Need a valid drivers license
