Midwood Smokehouse is currently searching for a dishwasher/prep to join their team. Someone who can make a glass sing and plate smile. We pride ourselves on being one of the Carolina’s best barbecue restaurants! Our team is looking for dishwashers with experience in busy kitchens to help us continue our tradition of being the best barbecue for your buck.

Dishwasher Responsibilities Include:

• Keep the restaurant running smoothly by loading, running, and unloading the dish machine, and always maintaining clean silverware for the dining room
• Monitor the dish machine all the time - keep it clean, look at the wash cycle to ensure its sanitary and effective, and report any problems immediately
• Making sure dishes are handled carefully so they don’t break
• Follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety
• Fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
• Assist in prep when needed

We Are Looking for a Dishwasher Who:

• Is focused on little details and able to do a great job efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoys working in a team environment
• Has the ability and desire to talk with your team
• Is comfortable working in a loud environment
• Can stand for 8 hour shifts
• Can lift up to 50 pounds (roughly 5 medium bowling balls)
• Has an eye for workplace safety
