The Opportunity
Midwestern BioAg® is seeking a Channel Development Manager located in Montana (Bozeman, Billing, Great Falls), to support and grow our channel partner network through proprietary product sales. Our proprietary soil health products have proven effectiveness and significant market potential, particularly in the Western USA and Plains states—regions that are both agronomically ideal for our solutions and currently underserved. This is a location-based, remote role supporting North Dakota. Candidate must be located in North Dakota.

Primary Responsibilities
- Grow established channel partner accounts through upselling / cross-selling
- Recruit new channel partners within assigned territory, thereby acquiring new revenue
- Develop expert knowledge on company products and services
- Develop and maintain relationships with established channel partners
- Communicate with customers on order status, price changes, product discrepancies, and respond promptly to complaints
- Track progress in CRM
- Forecasting internal targets with support from leadership
- Business plan with channel partners and help them reach their targets through training
- Train dealers on products and “sell through” leveraging agronomy resources as needed (i.e. partner ride alongs, seasonal meetings, tradeshows, etc.)
- Provide basic, technical support for products
- Draft partnership contracts for respective parties
- Act as a liaison for customers with all other Midwestern BioAg departments
- Support operations execution when needed
- Stay aware of industry trends and changes
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, related field, or equivalent experience
- Sales experience in agriculture industry
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Located near Billings, Bozeman, or Great Falls
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in agricultural sales
- Ability to identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities and drive revenue growth within existing accounts
- Ability to source new channel partners and acquire revenues thereof
- Familiarity with channel partner sales models and strategies
- Experience using CRM systems to track sales activities and customer interactions
- Understanding of agronomy, soil health, or agricultural inputs
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with channel partners and customers
- Strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and product discrepancies
- Ability to deliver training sessions and support partners in achieving their sales goals
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple accounts, track progress, and meet targets
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with internal departments to support customer success
- Adaptable to industry changes and willing to stay informed about market trends
- Detail-oriented when drafting contracts, tracking orders, and maintaining CRM data
- Ability to provide basic technical support for products
- Comfortable working in both office and field environments

Compensation Structure: $65,000-$75,000 Base Quarterly Uncapped Commission. Base Salary is determined by experience. Commission is percentage-based and can be earned on both retention and new business. Meeting/exceeding targets would lead to $55,000 in commission.
All remote role compensation ranges are based on National Benchmark data.
