Regional Outreach Coordinator – Rural Healthcare
Independent Contractor (1099) | $25 per hour Travel Reimbursement
We are seeking an energetic and relationship-focused Regional Outreach Coordinator to support a growing healthcare program serving rural communities throughout Eastern and Southern Oklahoma.
This is a field-based independent contractor position involving extensive community and healthcare outreach throughout rural Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person outreach throughout assigned rural communities
- Establish relationships with home health agencies, hospitals, clinics, Rural Health Clinics, senior organizations, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare/community organizations
- Introduce healthcare services to potential referral and community partners
- Schedule and conduct meetings and presentations
- Identify new community partnership opportunities
- Attend appropriate healthcare and community events
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, meetings, outreach activities, and follow-up
- Provide regular updates regarding outreach activity and market opportunities
Ideal Candidate
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Comfortable with significant regional driving
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Professional and dependable
- Healthcare marketing, home health, medical sales, senior-care outreach, community outreach, or business-development experience preferred
- Existing relationships with healthcare organizations throughout Eastern or Southern Oklahoma are a major plus
Compensation
$25/hour – 1099 Independent Contractor
Approved outreach travel is reimbursed separately:
- Mileage reimbursement: $0.70/mile
- Approved hotel/lodging
- Approved per diem for qualifying travel
Reliable transportation is required. Occasional overnight travel will be necessary when covering more distant rural communities.
Preferred location: McAlester, Muskogee, Ada, Tahlequah, Durant, Poteau, or surrounding communities.
We are looking for someone who enjoys developing relationships and wants to play an important role in expanding access to healthcare services throughout rural Oklahoma.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
