What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Practice APRN position at Midwest Urgent Care?
Duties:
- Provide advanced care to patients in an Urgent Care setting, 12 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts on rotating weekends.
- Diagnose and treat acute episodic or chronic illness exacerbation.
-Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and prevention strategies
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Qualifications:
- Valid APRN, 1-2 years preferred experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
