This is a part-time, on-site role for a Family Nurse Practitioner based in Rogers, MN. The Family Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with various non-emergent medical conditions in an urgent care setting. Responsibilities include conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, providing patient education, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.
- Proficient in Nurse Practitioner skills and practices within urgent and primary care settings
- Strong knowledge and experience in Nursing, Primary Care, and Urgent Care services
- Expertise in Medicine, particularly with diagnosing and treating non-emergent illnesses and injuries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient-centered care
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Minnesota
- Current certifications including BLS/ACLS (Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Experience in an urgent care setting is preferred but not required
