Midwest Transit Equipment, Inc. seeks a Full-Time Bus Detailer for our Marshall, MI location.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Bus Detailer. The Bus Detail needs to be quick, efficient, and have the ambition to work hard. This position will clean all buses before delivery to our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wash and clean vehicles, machinery and other equipment
• Scrub, scrape or spray repetitively to clean machine parts, equipment or vehicles
• Mix Cleaning solutions, abrasive compositions and other compounds according to formulas
• Clean and polish vehicle windows, seats, floors, steps, etc.
• Rinse objects and place them on drying racks or use cloth, squeegees or air compressors to dry surfaces
• General Facilities Maintenance such as cutting grass, trash removal, cleaning offices
• Employees holding this position are responsible for the safe performance of the job duties
  
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance as attendance is an essential function of the position
• Ability to work outside in hot and cold environments
• Required to frequently lift/carry 25 to 50 pounds
• Must be able to bend, climb ladders, crawl, squat, kneel, reach and twist consistently
• Must be able to work around cleaning solutions and chemicals
