What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Specialist position at Midwest Staffing Group?
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team! This is a long-term temporary position with the potential for permanent hire based on performance and attendance.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Prepare and package outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials
- Maintain organized inventory and warehouse space
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
