Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Safety Professional role based in Rosemount, MN. The candidate will join a team of Safety Professionals responsible for conducting safety training, overseeing programs and processes, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations. Additional responsibilities include identifying safety hazards, developing safety strategies, and collaborating with contractors to achieve safety goals in their organizations. The role also involves conducting site inspections and audits, implementing corrective actions, and providing guidance on EHS best practices.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following:
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHST
- Relevant degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Experience in the construction trades, manufacturing, process safety, or utilities
- Proficient knowledge of environmental health & safety (EHS) practices
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and compliance requirements
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
