Customer Supply Chain Specialist

Position Summary:

The Customer Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain activities that support customer orders. This role focuses on demand management, order execution, inventory coordination, and delivery performance to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and accurately.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage customer demand forecasts and align supply plans accordingly.
• Process and manage customer orders from receipt through delivery.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Production, and Logistics teams to meet customer commitments.
• Monitor inventory levels to support customer requirements while minimizing excess.
• Track order status, shipments, and delivery performance.
• Identify and resolve supply chain disruptions or risks affecting customers.
• Communicate proactively with Customer Account Managers and customers regarding supply issues.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP systems related to orders, forecasts, and inventory.
• Analyze customer service metrics (OTIF, lead time, fill rate) and recommend improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across customer-facing supply chain processes.
• All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in supply chain management or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
• 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, with a proven track record of successful process improvements.
• Experience with advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with industry-specific supply chain practices and trends

Environment and Physical Demands:

Work Environment: Standard office environment - desk/computer work, minimal noise

Physical Demands: Light Activity - some walking and light lifting up to 25 lbs
